I see Don Staniford is spitting the dummy again making his usual unsubstantiated comments about fish farming and disease.
Maybe he can explain to us in Europe how Pacific Salmon have been found close to the Norwegian border with Russia.
Is it a case that because of global warming, Canadian wild salmon populations are tracking round the north coast of Russia looking for food before heading home to spawn? Are they contracting the disease from other wild fish?
If there is indeed ISA in BC where is the DNA test results to identify where the strain originated? As there is no movement of farmed fish between Europe and BC, how does he explain the reason for the alleged transmission of diseases?
Maybe if he had stayed at University and finished his degree, he might have gained the knowledge on the subject he obviously lacks.
