Marine Harvest Canada First to Complete Group Farm Pilot
October 5, 2015 - Campbell River
Marine Harvest Canada has successfully completed a pilot of the Best Aquaculture Practice’s (BAP) new group farm program, resulting in 11 of its salmon farm sites attaining BAP certification, the Global Aquaculture Alliance announced today.
 
Grieg’s Skuna Bay hatchery achieves BAP certification

The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) has awarded its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification to Grieg Seafood’s Gold River hatchery on Vancouver Island.

Warm water blob may be cause of smaller salmon

BRINGING IN A coho weighing in the double digits isn't an impossible task, but let's face it, the silvers are smaller than normal this season.
