Environmentalism's failure blamed on doom and gloom message
St Catharines Standard, Monday, May 7, 2012

If indeed environmentalism has failed, it is not because of the reasons given by David Suzuki (May 5).

The failure is due to the continuous overreach by activists like Suzuki with their warnings of doom and gloom. It becomes almost shrill after awhile and, when that happens, people stop listening. And, who would not grow weary of being personally attacked as deniers and flat earthers etc. for simply observing that the environmentalists’ predictions and computer models seem to have missed their targets?

Who wouldn’t become tired of being scolded daily about how they live their lives, constantly being made to feel guilty because they aren’t green enough for the likes of Saint Suzuki and his comrades?

The environmentalists left science behind years ago and turned into a bunch of people who just nag and nag and nag. That is their failure.
