Fish are safe

Regarding the article published April 13, "New Salmon virus spreads to Vancouver markets: Biologist," I would like to point out that Government of Canada scientists haven't confirmed the presence of this virus in Canadian fish, despite extensive monitoring and testing. Every indication shows Canadian salmon are healthy and safe.
It's also important to note that the direct link between piscine reovi-rus as the causative agent for heart and skeletal muscle inflammation isn't confirmed and current information doesn't suggest any impact on human health.
