Award: Outstanding Service to the Aquaculture Community
This year Positive Aquaculture included a new recognition award to our evening of celebration, the Outstanding Service to the Aquaculture Community Award. We were honoured to present this award to two individuals for their contribution to the industry we are all proud to work in and support.
Heather Olney was recognized for her extremely active participation in Social Media and speaking out in support of Salmon Farming in BC

Wayne Gorrie from PR Aqua was recognized for his long time support of the aquaculture industry in BC, including the organization Van Isle 360 sailboat race around Vancouver Island that includes an educational salmon dinner held at a local fish farm.
